Bean Tuna Loaf
Makes 6 servings
 

2 cups cooked*, drained beans, any variety or two 16-oz. Cans, drained
1 can (6 ½ oz.) tuna, flaked
½ cup dry bread crumbs
½ cup milk
2 tablespoons grated onion
¼ cup chopped sweet pickles
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1 can (8-oz.) tomato sauce

Mash beans coarsely with fork.  Add remaining ingredients, except tomato sauce.  Spread into greased 5x8-inch loaf pan or 8-inch square pan.  Bake at 350º F for 50-60 minutes.  Slice or cut into squares to serve.  Accompany with heated tomato sauce.  

*For best results, soak and cook beans by preferred method located on this site.
